Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. This cancellation policy outlines the terms for cancelling or modifying your bookings with Cairo Calling. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@cairo-calling.com.

The following cancellation fees apply to tour bookings: • More than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus administrative fees • 15–30 days before departure: 50% of the total tour price • 7–14 days before departure: 75% of the total tour price • Less than 7 days before departure: No refund • No-show: No refund Cancellation fees are calculated based on the total booking value and apply per person.

For private transfer bookings: • More than 48 hours before pickup: Full refund • 24–48 hours before pickup: 50% refund • Less than 24 hours before pickup: No refund • No-show: No refund Airport transfers booked as part of a tour package follow the tour cancellation policy.

Accommodation cancellation policies vary by property. The specific cancellation terms for your accommodation will be communicated at the time of booking confirmation. Generally: • More than 14 days before check-in: Full refund • 7–14 days before check-in: 50% refund • Less than 7 days before check-in: No refund Some properties may have stricter cancellation policies during peak seasons or holidays.

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the cancellation request. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please note that bank processing times may vary and it could take an additional 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account. Refunds are calculated in the original booking currency. Exchange rate differences are not compensated.

In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, severe weather, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our control), Cairo Calling may cancel or modify bookings without liability. In such cases, we will offer you the choice of: • Rebooking for alternative dates at no extra cost • A travel credit valid for 12 months • A full or partial refund depending on costs already incurred

If you wish to modify your booking (change dates, add/remove travelers, change services), please contact us as soon as possible. Modifications are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Date changes requested more than 14 days before the original departure date will be accommodated free of charge when possible. Changes within 14 days may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking.
