About this tour
This private Luxor and Aswan tour from Hurghada covers the highlights of Upper Egypt in three days, with your own car, driver and Egyptologist guide. On day one you drive from your hotel in the Hurghada area to Luxor, visit Karnak and Luxor Temple and stay in a 5-star hotel on the Nile, such as the Steigenberger Nile Palace or similar. Day two begins on the West Bank before you continue south to the Temple of Horus at Edfu and the double temple of Kom Ombo, ending at a 5-star hotel in Aswan such as the Tolip Aswan or similar. On day three you see the Aswan High Dam, take the boat to Philae and sail on the Nile in a private felucca before the direct drive back to the Red Sea. Breakfast, three lunches, all listed entry fees, the Philae boat and the felucca are included. Abu Simbel is not included but can be arranged as an extra. The private format lets you start early, linger where you like and travel with your own group only.
