This Luxor day trip from Cairo by plane fits the highlights of ancient Thebes into one day, with a private car and Egyptologist waiting when you land. We collect you from your hotel in Cairo or Giza for a morning flight to Luxor, about one hour. Your guide meets you at Luxor airport and takes you to Karnak, then across the Nile to the Valley of the Kings, where the ticket includes the tomb of Tutankhamun, and on to the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch is served at a restaurant by the Nile. In the evening you fly back to Cairo and are driven to your hotel.
