This 3-day Luxor and Aswan tour from Hurghada follows the Nile south from the temples of Luxor to the island temple of Philae. On day one you drive from your hotel in the Hurghada area to Luxor and visit Karnak and Luxor Temple with your English-speaking guide, then stay the night in a 3-star hotel. Day two starts on the West Bank of Luxor before the road south to Aswan, with stops at the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best preserved in Egypt, and the riverside double temple of Kom Ombo. You sleep in a 3-star hotel in Aswan. On day three you see the Aswan High Dam and take the boat to Philae, the temple of Isis that was moved stone by stone to its present island, before the direct drive back to the Red Sea. Day 1: Hurghada to Luxor
Morning pickup and drive to Luxor. Afternoon visit to Karnak and Luxor Temple, then the night in a 3-star hotel.
Day 2: West Bank, Edfu and Kom Ombo
Morning on the West Bank of Luxor, then south along the Nile to the Temple of Horus at Edfu and the double temple of Kom Ombo. Night in Aswan.
