12:30 Pm | St. Simeon Monastery |  | In the afternoon, cross the river again and ride a camel or 4×4 to reach the Monastery of St. Simeon, an early Christian monastery built in the 7th century AD. The monastery offers stunning desert views and fascinating insight into monastic life in early Christian Egypt. |
